A Johor assemblyman has proposed that the government of the Malaysian state adopt a three-day weekend and a four-day work week.

Chiang Mai is set to reopen its weekend markets and walking streets from Wednesday, now that no new Covid-19 cases have been reported in the province for six consecutive days.
